Swim Classes can help set the routine of returning to school – especially this year! Sept 2020

Keeping your family safe is your priority right now and we want to let you know it’s also our priority, as well! -Your Swimming Safari Guides

Can you believe summer vacation is coming to an end? Certainly, a different type of summer vacation, this year! When planning your fall schedules, you might be wondering what activities should fit into the picture, that are safe. How do you choose between limiting your child’s exposure to others and teaching them to have skills you want them to develop? The answer is you choose an activity that will be essential for them throughout their life, as well as, fun and safe! This would be, of course, Swim Classes! And the best thing to do is to choose a Swim School that is aware of your concerns AND has taken precautions to protect their students and families!
Swimming Safari Swim School - We are here for you!

Here are a few reasons why it’s a good idea to include swim classes into your back to school routine.

Establishing New Routines
We’ve all changed our normal routines this past Spring and Summer, but it’s time now to start again establishing your “new routine.” there’s no doubt the last couple months have revolved around a different direction to everyone’s activities. In order to help your kids, transition back into the swing of school, think about incorporating swim classes as an activity. Your kids’ school day will, of course, make up the main part of their routine, and then you can schedule their other activities around that.

Familiarity Gives Comfort
Sometimes, when starting in a new school or even a new grade brings with it a lot of uncertainty and nerves can be unraveled, especially this year. Many families have been struggling with whether to send their kids into a physical school or try to keep them home to do their schoolwork virtually. Some families have started one way and are thinking of switching to the other method for one reason or another. There has been no protocol. It’s almost like “each family for themselves!” This is where swim classes, to look forward to, can be extra important. If your child has been taking lessons previously and are super comfortable coming to the swim class, they will appreciate the stability of how their swim class runs and just coming into a welcoming, comfortable, safe environment. Swim class has likely become a familiar, comfy place. The routines we have in our classes at Swimming Safari Swim and the facility itself, can give them a feeling of security and enjoyment.

New to Swim Class
If you have not been to swim classes before and are picking out an activity for your child, pick out swimming! It’s one of the safest activities you could choose because like The Florida Department of Health says, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can spread to people through the water used in pools, hot tubs, or water playgrounds. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.Public Swimming Pools Health.

Did you know that Swimming Safari has taken extra precautions and has an Ultra-Violet System in the pool that kills all pathogens instantly? YES! We are taking this very seriously, to keep everyone safe!

So, we want to see your child: HAPPY, CONFIDENT and above all else, SAFE, especially in the water! Choosing the best activity for your child should include the one that will be good for him not only now but forever! Swimming is a lifesaving skill that will last the rest of their lives!
