Our Jungle Tots program has been designed for toddlers of all skill levels. We have four levels, designed to accommodate a wide range of abilities. All of our Jungle Tots’ classes are taught without a parent in the water. Each lesson is filled with several games, toys, and songs, designed to create a positive and enjoyable experience for your child.

  Jungle Tots 1 (Getting Comfortable in the Water)

  This class is designed as an introduction to the water for fearful non-swimmers or swimmers new to separation from their parents. This class is focused on increasing the student’s confidence in the water by learning through games and songs to help children relax and learn at their own speed.

  Requirement for Jungle Tots 1:

  • 2-4 years old

  Goals Mastered in Jungle Tots 1:

  • Comfortable submerging face for 3 seconds
  • Assisted back float
  • Introduction to self-rescue

  Cost: $29 per lesson

  Jungle Tots 2 (Buoyancy & Balance in the Water)

  This class introduces independence with buoyancy and balance in the water. Skills and lessons are taught using fun activities to help students enjoy the water and work at each individual’s pace.

  Requirements for Jungle Tots 2:

  • 2-4 years old
  • Comfortable with parent separation
  • Confident submerging face for 3 seconds
  • Comfortable in an assisted back float

  Goals Mastered in Jungle Tots 2:

  • Independent glide with a submerged face 2-3 body lengths
  • Assisted swim to float
  • Assisted self-rescue

  Cost: $29 per lesson

  Jungle Tots 3 (Introduction to Propulsion)

  This class begins propulsion for increased distance swimming. With a great combination of fun and challenges, students will gain confidence in their swim abilities, preparing them for advanced skills.

  Requirements for Jungle Tots 3:

  • 2-4 years old
  • Independent glide with a submerged face 2-3 body lengths
  • Assisted swim to float

  Goals Mastered in Jungle Tots 3:

  • Streamline with kicking 3 body lengths
  • Paddle arms 3 body lengths
  • Independent swim to float
  • Independent self-rescue

  Cost: $27.75 per lesson

  Jungle Tots 4 (Advanced Breathing & Kicking)

  This class is designed for students who have mastered basic swim skills and are ready for advanced self-rescue and stroke development. With a great combination of fun and challenges, students will learn new breathing techniques to increase their swimming distance.

  Requirements for Jungle Tots 4:

  • 2-4 years old
  • Streamline with kicking 3 body lengths
  • Paddle arms 3 body lengths
  • Swim to float

  Goals in Jungle Tots 4:

  • Swim float swim
  • Beginner freestyle
  • Beginner backstroke
  • Introduction to advanced breathing and kicking

  Splish-Splash Toddlers (2-4 Years)

  Splish-Splash Toddlers is the transition course for students 2-4 years. Lessons focus on building your child’s confidence with the water and decreasing separation anxiety. Our primary goal in this class is to prepare students for our Jungle Tots program. Students will learn to trust instructors and become comfortable with our teaching methods. This class is great for children who are uncomfortable being away from their parents, have an extreme fear of the water, or for parents who are looking to be actively involved with the lessons.

  A parent or adult, that the child is comfortable with, is required to be in the pool for these lessons.
