Our Instructors

Safari Guides

We understand our swim lessons are only as good as our instructors. Which is why we take special care to ensure that all of our staff is enthusiastic, energetic, and experienced working with children. We place a lot of emphasis on training and developing our staff into highly qualified swim instruction professionals.

Our instructors are required to:

  • Train for a minimum of 35 hours with a Swimming Safari Master Instructor. Our Instructors also must pass comprehensive instructor exams in and out of the water.
  • Maintain current C.P.R, & First Aid certification for infants, children, and adults through The American Red Cross.
  • Participate in continuing education which includes personal and group trainings as well as seminars and conferences across the world.

Since our start, way back when we taught in community pools and backyards, and continuing through today, Swimming Safari staff have always been chosen and taught to be role models, and to ensure the highest quality of instruction for our students.

We have a commitment that goes beyond just learning to swim. Starting from the minute you walk into our doors where we will welcome you and your student with a greeting and a smile. You may see new investments to improve the teaching experience in the water such as platforms or snowmen cling-ons, or even in the changing room such as hair and bathing suit dryers. We are always looking on ways to make your time with us better! We teach more than 48,000 children each year, life-saving skills they need to be safer in the water by using our specialized curriculum that helps every swimmer gain confidence and achieve their goals.

This has been a great experience for both of us very flexible with my schedule and great with kids. I have tried other places and this is the best she has ever done!
