Founded in 2006 by a local mom and grandmother, Swimming Safari was created to help Jacksonville families turn water fear into confidence. We understand the balancing act of raising kids in Florida—where water is everywhere—and the quiet worry parents feel about their child’s safety. At Swimming Safari, we guide children from overcoming water anxiety to building lifelong swimming skills, all while creating joyful memories for families. Reign is the best teacher ever!! I was definitely hesitant to sign up for adult classes but it was the best decision I made. Even though I was scared before starting every class, my teacher made sure I felt comfortable. After a couple of months, I’m able to jump into the pool without being scared and I’m able to swim across the pool. Thank you Reign for being such a great teacher!!! Looking forward to coming back next summer.

Took my son for a trail lesson and he absolutely loved it. Being in the Splish Splash babies is helping my son learn how to safely navigate the water. Our instructor was amazing. She showed me what to do with my son and even did it with him sometimes. I highly recommend this place if anyone is looking for a place for swimming or water safety lessons for your children. Even though this place is a 50 minute drive for me it is amazing and totally worth it. Absolutely love the staff very sweet and helpful. Can’t wait for our next lesson!!

My daughter has been swimming with Swimming Safari since she was 2. She is three levels away from the Swim Team at 5, and can perform all strokes and freestyle (recently). Her confidence and love for the water can be attributed to the friendly fun curriculum, and the totally balanced and tailor-made instruction each class by each instructor.
